This is a watercolor of a street scene painted by H. J. Harris in 1912. Villagers pass the Rouen Cathedral as they walk down the street. Rouen Cathedral is a Catholic church in Rouen, Normandy, France. The cathedral is in the Gothic architectural tradition, and was made famous by Monet's many paintings of its facade. The page, which is in incredibly clean condition, measures 29'' x 21''.
